Greetings and aloha to all who are visiting our site today.

We here at Kayu Wake Sport, we appreciate your interest and love for our wooden wakesurfs. Unfortunately, due to the rising cost and limited availability of tropical woods such as balsa, and the exceptional response to our current line of traditional foam and fiberglass boards, we will be shifting our primary focus from the wooden boards back to our So. Cal. surf/skate roots.

We are extremely excited about this move and will be debuting at least two new models in the very near future.

In addition to the wildly popular "k58" which is our 4'10" 3-fin design and the 4'6" single fin models, we are fine tuning a 5'8" round nosed longboard - shaped thruster (3 fin) model and a more performance oriented wakesurf geared toward a more experienced rider.

Stay tuned as we will be re-organizing the web site to reflect our change in direction.

As always, our boards are built right here in the good ole U.S.of A. by a team of guys with literally decades of experience. Our CNC technology is top of the line and each board is fine tuned by hand.

We take great pride in our artistic abilities and encourage our customers to make a bold statement and have your board personalized with one of our custom "acid splash" resin jobs to match your boat colors or air-brushed practically any way you'd like. *note, all custom artwork must be reviewed by the art dept. for pricing and approval*.

We currently have a handful of boards on display in the Buxton Marine, Nautique booth at the Dallas boat show. stop by and rap with Jeff Baker or any of the fine folks out there and tell them to hook you up with the best..."hook me up with a Kayu".

A note from the big kahuna himself; i will still be doing balsa boards on request as they are just SO BITCHIN'. call or e-mail for a quote, mahalo from the tribe at kayu.

A Word From Kayu Wake Sport:
True wakesurfing is when you pull yourself in close enough to the back of the boat to allow you to let go of the rope and ride the wake like an ocean wave. This should only be performed behind an inboard type boat with a competent, sober driver!

NEVER, EVER WAKESURF BEHIND AN OUTBOARD OR I/O TYPE BOAT, EVER!!
